At the center of that world is founder and multidisciplinary creator, Jennie Hallestam.

With a background in media & visual arts, international welding, craftsmanship, and artistic exploration across multiple mediums, Jennie has shaped Hallestam into more than a design brand — a creative universe where art, texture, structure, softness, and expression meet.

The Story Behind Jennie Hallestam

Creativity has always been a natural part of Jennie’s life.

From an early age, she was drawn to painting, visual storytelling, design, and creating with her hands. Over time, that passion evolved into a deeper fascination with materials, craftsmanship, and the relationship between form and emotion.

Alongside her artistic background in media and image creation, Jennie later trained as both an International Welder and International Welding Specialist. She has also worked as a welding instructor, teaching students from around the world — an experience that further shaped her understanding of materials, precision, structure, and human connection.

Today, her creative work moves freely between different artistic expressions. From wearable art and handcrafted pieces to painting, editorial storytelling, and sculptural forms, Hallestam Design has become a reflection of that multidisciplinary approach to creativity.

Rather than being defined by a single medium, the work is united by atmosphere, emotion, and intention.

A recurring thread throughout Hallestam is the balance between softness and structure — something that can be traced back to Jennie’s contrasting creative influences. Delicate textures meet stronger silhouettes. Rawness meets elegance. Movement meets stillness.

Beyond the Atelier

Outside the creative world of Hallestam, travel and motorcycles are two of Jennie’s greatest passions.

Having visited 47 countries, she is drawn less to traditional tourism and more to human connection, local culture, and discovering how people live, create, and express themselves around the world. Those experiences continue to shape the atmosphere and emotional language behind Hallestam Design.

Her passion for motorcycles came later in life — discovering riding for the first time at the age of 30. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a deep passion for freestyle motocross, movement, and the freedom found on two wheels.

Today, motorcycles remain an important part of her life and creative energy — representing movement, fearlessness, individuality, and expression.
