No Rules was born from the decision to let go of the original plan and allow the artwork to find its own direction.
 
Beneath its visible surface lies the beginning of an entirely different painting — a Viking woman who is no longer seen, yet remains physically present within the work. Rather than erasing its history, No Rules carries it forward through layers of colour, bold lines, graphic symbols, and fragments of language.
 
A reminder that creation does not always need to follow the expected path. Sometimes, the most compelling work begins when the rules are left behind.
 
Created using acrylic paint and acrylic paint markers on canvas.
 
Mounted in a handcrafted, black-painted floating frame made from solid oak, allowing the canvas to appear suspended within the frame.
