THE DOUX CARDIGAN is a soft wearable textile work created through contrasting tactile surfaces and a relaxed sculptural silhouette.
 
Built from a combination of smooth merino textures and soft fluffy detailing, the work explores contrast through materiality — balancing softness, structure, and movement within a calm and understated expression.
 
The elongated silhouette drapes naturally around the body, while textured accents along the sleeves, hem, and front edges introduce subtle depth and softness throughout the composition.
 
Created from carefully selected merino-based yarns, THE DOUX CARDIGAN carries warmth and lightness simultaneously, designed for layered wear and tactile comfort.
 
Each work is created individually by hand in the Hallestam Atelier, allowing natural variations in texture, tone, and expression as part of the artistic process.
 
Commission inquiries are welcome for alternative color directions and individualized interpretations of the silhouette.
