The Rose
 
The Rose is one of Hallestam’s signature sculptural works — a handcrafted textile piece created to exist somewhere between fashion, art, and object design.
 
Built flower by flower, petal by petal, each piece requires countless hours of handcraftsmanship and is created as a one-of-one work. No two versions are ever made identical.
 
Originally designed as a bag, The Rose has evolved into something beyond accessory design — a wearable art object intended to be carried, displayed, collected, and remembered.
 
However, custom commissions inspired by The Rose may be requested through the inquiry form below. Every commissioned work is created individually for its future owner, with variations in color, structure, lining, hardware, and artistic expression.
 
Rather than reproducing the original, Hallestam creates new interpretations — each carrying its own identity and story.
 
Materials
Hand-crocheted in polypropylene with a carefully selected textile lining.
Hardware available in gold-tone, silver-tone, or gunmetal finishes.
 
Dimensions
Approximately 22 cm in diameter externally and 18 cm internally.
